Warning: This post is one of those posts I warned you about where I'm going to be the overly doting parent because this post is for Audrey when she gets older.
Audrey, today after you got up from your nap, you and I had to make a 'tech support call' (oh how I hate being known as the family computer specialist) and then we went grocery shopping at Target because Sissy and Carl were coming over for dinner. By the time we left Sissy's trying to revive her 'computer' and had arrived at Target you were already sleeping. So waking you up to put you in the 'front pack' (reverse backpack) was a bit worrisome and I was envisioning an 'eventful' shopping outing <sarcasm>.
To my surprise, you were in one of your better moods. We were in the store literally 20-30 minutes and we were 'stopped' 4 different times by random people: two younger mothers with kids, an elderly couple, and to my surprise a middle eastern family (I'm so bad with my geography I'm not going to make any guesses, but the three women were dressed in black robbing from head to toe - face showing - and they were speaking foreign language). The each stopped us and commented on how beautiful you are and couldn't get enough of your smiles and cooing, of course you laid down the real 'thick' sappiness for them ;)
Besides this, I heard/saw a handful of others wave, smile, and/or comment about how cute you were. You must have really been beaming those big blue eyes of yours. Then to cap off the trip (another warning about how sappy this post is before you read on), the cashier, a tweenie, made the comment, "That is the quite possibly the cutest baby I have ever seen in my life."
Audrey, you are so dang cute - God knows how that happened with me being part of the 'creation process' but hey I'm not complaining and I totally agree ;)
