Summer has officially hit! And, oh has been a fun and busy one so far. Last weekend was Uncle Scott's wedding. We drove (10 hrs - quite an adventure with a toddler and baby) out to New Rockford, ND to celebrate the occasion. We stayed at Devil's Lake Casino - surprisingly, Daddy didn't even mention playing poker, but Mommy had to tear Josh away from those crazy slot machines (you had to walk part way into the casino to enter the restaurant). Inside our room was a Jacuzzi (Josh referred to it as the super tub) which was quite a splash everywhere, literally. The wedding was beautiful and it was very fun spending time with the family. Josh had his first golf outing at Scott's rehearsal dinner (the golf course) and even hit a hole in one - well, a two-year old's version :) (check out the video). Audrey was also busy getting everyone's attention with her oh so cute smiles and giggles. About the only time the kids slept was to and from the hotel. However, they both clonked out hard right before family pictures and we had to actually wake them up against our best instincts to NEVER WAKE A SLEEPING BABY. We'll see how those turn out...

After the wedding, we drove to Brainerd to vacation a little more at Cragun's resort. We cut our trip short however - the kiddos were exhausted from the weekend festivities. So, we merrily journeyed home to catch up on some much needed rest in our own beds. Joshua and Audrey (and Mommy by default) are very much "creatures of habit" and were thrilled to be home.

Yesterday, we went to visit Aunt Val. She has a really cool swimming pool with a diving board and all of the pool toys you could ever ask for. We had a wonderful time swimming and jumping off the diving board. Mommy even did a cannon ball. (see video). Audrey hasn't gone swimming yet, but stay tuned for her first "big dip."
