Joshua's personality is blossoming more and more as his vocabulary expands. It truly amazes me how smart two-year olds are. Right now, he is in love with anything that has buttons, anything that turns "on-and-off", and anything that has wheels, particularly his "fire poker" (his motor cycle) and the lawn-mower. He's definitely a boy in that sense.
However, he has a softer side too that is so enduring. When he has an "owie", he immediately says "kiss it" and it's instantaneously better. He's wonderful with "baby Aw-dee" and gives her many kisses on her forehead and when she cries, he'll chant "it's owww-righttt Aw-dee" or "feed her!." Also, the way he says "awww you" (I love you) makes me want to melt.
Audrey is such a wonderful and beautiful baby. She is very even-tempered, smiley and cuddly. I am trying to savor each and every moment of her infant stage because I know how fast she'll grow. It blows me away that she's almost four months old. Audrey's personality is starting to shine through more and more each day too - she currently coos up a storm and blows many bubbles and is beginning to giggle which is SO CUTE. I can tell she already looks up to her big brother by the way she constantly stares at him and wants to be right by him. Audrey has adjusted so well to the busy toddler schedule of playgroups, endless hours at the park, and is very understanding when I have to tend to the occasional toddler melt-down. Her easy-going personality is a blessing in disguise.
